Content Creator Showcase (With 20MinuteGamer!)

Hey there, Dangerinos (we really need a name for our fans)! We've got some exciting news to share with you. We recently had a blast hanging out with Nick from 20MinuteGamer. It was like a virtual gaming session with an old friend, talking about games, movies, tv, our roots, and all things fun. Seriously, we recorded for an hour and then kept talking long into the night after the recording was done.

Kicking it with 20MinuteGamer

He's got some epic gameplay videos on games like Phantom Brigade, Aliens: Dark Descent, and a bunch more. His approach to the channel is unique, and he looks at getting the best gaming experience for your time. 

Nostalgia Trip Down Gaming Lane

Our chat with Nick took us on a nostalgic trip, and we found that we had a mutual love for RTS (Real-Time Strategy) and squad-based games. It's awesome how these genres bring out the strategist and commander in all of us, and you can see it in the gaming choices we look toward in the present. We reminisced about the unique gaming histories that got us hooked as kids – like one of us (that's me!) who had a Commodore 64 and Amiga as their gaming companions, while everyone else was booting up DOS and Windows 3.1. 

Our Gaming Faves

In addition to talking about our roots, we also discussed what’s got our interest in the present, both games and publishers too. We talked about the ever-changing landscape of games, the value of high-quality smaller publishers, and some AAA gems that we’ve found. There was even some nerding out over Destiny 2 and Darktide, so if you like those titles, you are in for a treat! 

Our Approach to Gaming and Content Creation

When it comes to making content, we keep it real. Our passion for gaming is what drives us, and we want to share that passion with you. We've got our true passion project - Shadows, our original TTRPG (catch us every Thursday at 8pm on Twitch). Alongside that, we’re always live streaming games, mixing newer content like Baldur's Gate 3 with some older stuff like Civilization 6, some really old stuff (Shadow Warrior anyone?) and our latest love, Elden Ring (shoutout to Nick for the gift!).

The goal of our channel is to engage the Get Dangerous community and give you something entertaining to sink into at the end of the day. We want you to feel safe to take a risk and try something new, and we’ll keep checking out new titles and publishers to let you know when it’s time to really Get Dangerous.
